Muhammed Kus is a Turkish Lawyer and SJD Candidate at American University Washington College of Law in Washington D.C., U.S. He is from Nevsehir which is known as Cappadocia.

His doctoral research focuses on Virtual Tokens and the implications of Securities Law on them. He is particularly interested in Investment Contracts and Securities Frauds on the virtual tokens. Besides his research, Mr. Kus currently participates in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Law Society.

Before joining the Washington College of law S.J.D program, Mr. Kus worked as an attorney at law in Turkey.  Also, he served as a legal intern at Indiana University Student Legal Services. Mr. Kus is planning to teach and practice law in the future.

Mr. Kus obtained the first law degree from the Ankara University Faculty of law. He was the 3rd ranked student among 960 students. He took the New York Bar in July 2019.
